MCEI Seattle - Marketing Communications Executives International

Marketing Communications Executives International, Seattle Chapter

The Seattle Chapter of Marketing Communications Executives International (MCEI) was formed in 1979 as part of a worldwide organization. In Seattle, MCEI is a unique group limited to 75 senior marketing communications professionals who participate by invitation only.

On the third Tuesday of each month, Seattle MCEI holds a dinner meeting with a distinguished marketing presenter.

The purpose of MCEI is to provide marketing communications professionals the opportunity to hear about and participate in a forum on a timely marketing topic of interest and value to members of the group.

The objective of each dinner meeting is to hear a "behind the scenes" perspective and high-level industry marketing insight.

Monthly speakers are asked to hold their remarks to 35 minutes, followed by 15 minutes of Q&A. Speakers are selected who can convey provocative ideas, positions and concepts, including controversial topics.

As one of the area's oldest and most respected professional groups, Seattle MCEI is a premiere forum where members and their guests can hear compelling ways of solving new or old marketing challenges.

COMING UP IN AUGUST

It's not gas---it's PROPEL!
With petroleum prices at record highs, and growing concerns about the environmental impact of fuel on the environment and on our national security, it’s never been more important to offer consumers something they’ve never had – true choice at the pump. Seattle-based Propel sells fuels that are domestically sourced and environmentally friendly, and in July, opened its latest station in South Lake Union. In fact, it’s the first new gas station – of any type -- in Seattle in more than a decade.
You'll hear from Rob Elam, CEO & Co-founder of Propel Fuels as he gives us a look at Propel’s innovative business model, how it’s differentiating itself from other biofuel retailers, and how it’s finding new ways to connect with consumers and businesses who want to make a difference with their fuel purchases.
